IDEAS announced that it will be doing the post production for Magik Shoppe Pictures’ upcoming feature film The Whole Banana. IDEAS will be responsible for the video editing and post production audio for the film, featuring Matthew Perry, Dean Cain, Kristy Swanson, Dominique Swain, and Kevin Sorbo. The film is based on the play written by Deb Norton that was performed at the Court Theater in Los Angeles in the fall of 2003.

The IDEAS team will be responsible for the video editing on the film along with dialogue editing, sound design, Foley, pre-mix, and final mix. Post production will be executed by the ten member post production team at IDEAS from April – July this year.

The Whole Banana began shooting March 1, 2012, in Los Angeles and is being produced by Stephen Wallis, John Perry, Tom Fox, and Stelio Savante and is being directed by Stephen Wallis. The Whole Banana revolves around struggling artist Fran (Swanson) who is unhappy with the men in her life. For help, she prays to Greek god Hermes (Sorbo).
