As part of its archival services of caring for over 22 million elements, Iron Mountain Entertainment Services offers playback equipment from many eras to accommodate the wide variety of media formats available, including all contemporary film, SD/HD video, and audio formats.
Among its popular services include film and sound protection, analog to digital transfer and high-resolution digital film scanning up to 4k on DPX, motion picture inspection and rejuvenation, real-time film viewing on archival-quality viewing tables, videotape cleaning and inspection, audio and video duplication, data backup and recovery, and graphics restoration and scanning.
At the core of the digital infrastructure is the 2 petabyte (PB) online Digital Content Repository (DCR), where clients can store (and retrieve on demand) their digital assets.
