Join us for 8 weeks of non stop audio at City Sound and Recording located just west of I95 in Lake Worth. From the basic principles of audio, to mixing in Pro Tools. We are going to cover it all. We even have a recording session booked with a local band and YOU are going setup, record and mix their song. We have designed a fun, interactive learning experience and seats are limited. Presented by our very own Latoya "Shon" Moore who's experienced with both recording and live sound and is a graduate of Full Sail.

Each week will take you further along the audio signal chain and by the end of the 8 weeks you will have recorded and mixed a song that you get to show off.

Week 1: Audio Basics
Week 2: Signal Flow & Microphones
Week 3: Preamps and Processing
Week 4: Analog to Digital Conversion & Intro to Pro Tools
Week 5: Recording in Pro Tools
Week 6: RECORDING SESSION WITH LOCAL ARTIST
Week 7: Mixing in Pro Tools
Week 8: Final Mix
*class times vary from 2 hours to 4 hours

Each week will not only be exciting with the class but you will get to see the evolution of the sound stage we are in the process of building and you get to see the construction of a completely analog studio being built right next door!
