In 1993 the Set Decorators in the motion picture and television industry formed a professional and social organization called the Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA). The SDSA is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to support and promote excellence in the set decorating profession. Members of our group include qualified Set Decorators and Sponsors. Our sponsors are businesses that provide furnishings, materials, and professional services. Our membership includes both union and non-union decorators. We are committed to opening communication with other design and technical professionals in the entertainment industry and beyond
