Moxie Films, founded in 1995, is a New York City based organization, which includes the brands MoxieDocs , MoxieShorts , MoxieStage and New Century Writer Screenplay and Stage Play. Launched in January 2001, Founder/Director Drew R. Figueroa has raised over $500,000 in-kind support for the Moxie Films Program via partnerships established with leading Film, Media, Industry product and service providers. The Moxie Films Program was established for the sole purpose of facilitating under-served artists. Presently assisting but not limited to short and documentary filmmakers, theatre producers, screenwriters and playwrights.
