Schedule, in a hectic deadline-driven news environment, digital records of all isos, stand-ups and pre-tapes via the Thomson Grass Valley NewsBrowse Ingest system. Feed video clips of shows, packages, and b-roll from CNBC to various sources digitally via Feedclip or NewsQ systems. Ingest tape material for editing and browsing. Perform as live playback operator for prime-time shows in the absence of regular NOC playback operation.

Acquire, route, QC and troubleshoot digital & analog domestic and international satellite & fiber interconnects for a fast-paced cable news operation.

Oversee A&E/The History Channel on-air product and logs through quality-control evaluation of the digitally encoded program on the SeaChange server. Correct discrepancies in scheduled TM/RT log elements (promos, credits, VOs, bugs and local insert tones.)

Equipment / Gear / Software

Proficient in the operation of Leitch control panels, PESA routers, "Switch" port router panels, Tektronix vectorscopes & waveform monitors.
