Description
Combining its educational curriculum with an active production company, San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking (SFSDF) is a new intensive digital moviemaking program opening in April 2005. At SFSDF, students and faculty engage in hands-on movie making together, all the time. SFSDF was founded by experienced moviemakers and instructors who saw the need for more practical training before, during, or after film school.
This unique concept offers students the rare opportunity to learn moviemaking from working professionals in a real world environment. Each student produces 5 films of their own, learning the "nuts-and-bolts" craft of movie-making from experienced, working film professionals.
In addition to making their own movies, students learn by apprenticing on actual motion picture productions. SFSDF''s production company, Third Street Pictures, will produce short-form and feature-length High Definition digital productions. The advanced curriculum is designed around these prod
