Lauren is a crafted Project Manager with over five years of experience in television. Starting
out as a Media Manger she began by tackling the reorganization of the department and
establishing structure. She quickly advanced into the Digital/Graphic Coordinator position.
Here she improved process and identified areas of improvement while still holding her
previous responsibilities of Media Manager. With communication and adjustments she
created various instructional manuals for freelancers, vendors, interns and in-house project
requesters, streamlining graphics seamlessly. With such proven success, Lauren was
promoted to Creative Operations and New Media Graphic Project Manager. Still maintaining
all responsibilities of her past two titles, additional duties were instilled. Due to Lauren’s
versatile experiences and desire for continuous personal growth, she looked forward to her
new challenges. In this position she now oversaw all operations within the Creative
Department and all on-air and off-air project requests. She routed and assigned projects to
producers and designers. Supporting the VP and Director of Design, she handled various
assignments giving her a broader experience outside of her acquired responsibilities. Some of
her new responsibilities included; managing award submissions for the channel, interviewing
and training department interns, organizing and updating department inventory database of
equipment and media, assisting in hiring and researching designers, building vendor
relationships and creating presentations. One of her biggest achievements was the successful
physical move of the creative department. She facilitated with various vendors to ensure a
smooth move, grouping workstations and providing appropriate feeds depending on
production and equipment needs. With an instinct to always save money she frequently met
with the Director of Content Creation to find new ways of receiving additional software at no
extra cost. By demonstrating detailed organizational skills, multitasking, strong
communication, negotiating and problem solving techniques; Lauren was promoted to Senior
Manager, Creative Operations. Still maintaining all previous duties she became the entrusted
chief liaison for the Creative Department. She identified, tracked and resolved department
equipment issues; compiled future software and equipment needs for the department’s
capital budget. She managed project makelists, calendars, edit rooms, graphic deliverables
and servers holding confidential shoot material. Lauren was involved in two rebranding
phases for the channel and assisted in the management of the channels largest media buy.
She has hands on experience with Advanced Microsoft Office, Cleaner, DVD Studio Pro, QT
Pro, Final Cut Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, Snapz Pro, Toast, FileMaker Pro and Transmit.
Lauren is a talented individual who stays abreast of her field, who understands technology
and procedure and who is goal driven and career-committed. She is looking to grow and take
on new challengers, to be given an opportunity to expand her talent and unique skills.
