DONNA GROSSMAN began her casting career at DDB New York where some of her accounts included American Airlines, Volkswagen, IBM, Hershey’s and Clairol. After two years at DDB, Donna was approached by Bob Giraldi Productions to join their team. She cast for Bob Giraldi and Geoffrey Mayo.
Donna moved on to head the casting division of Griner/Cuesta & Schrom, where she was the primary casting director for 6 Television Directors. Clients included Xerox, AT&T, McDonalds, Kodak, United Airlines, Coke, and PSAs for CARE, Arthritis Foundation, Girls Clubs of America, March of Dimes and Alcohol Abuse.
In 1991 Donna went out on her own and opened Donna Grossman Casting. While she continued casting for US clients in New York and California, Donna’s business expanded globally. Global clients included several Italian Production Companies as well as Production Companies in Spain, Germany, Ireland, England, South America and Iceland.
In 2005, Donna built Aqua Studios in the heart of New York City to do all of her casting and better serve her clients. Aqua studios has 2 casting studios, a client conference area, kitchen and lots of light.
Donna continues to work with many of the top TV and Film directors as well as the world’s most prestigious photographers.
Some of Donna’s favorite casting credits include Public Service projects for Farber Center for Oncology, “Look Good, Feel Better” and United Federation of Teachers. She also participates yearly in the 39 mile Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in New York City.
Donna's casting spans everything from Film, TV Commercials, Reality TV, Voice Over, Print Advertising, Digital Projects, and Theatre.
Donna is the proud recipient of several CLIO awards for her commercials.
