Description
I am familiar with most cameras and formats, having worked with miniDV, DVCPro, HD, P2, and film. I am proficient with production sound equipment including Mackie, PSC, Wendt, Sound Devices, Aaton, Fostex, Remote Audio, K-tek, Lectrosonics, Sennheiser, Neumann, Schoepps and Audio Technica. I am Mac/PC proficient, and I know ProTools LE and HD, Final Cut Pro, Avid Express and Avid Media Composer Adrenaline.
I have been working professionally in the sound department since before I graduated college. I have proven myself to be reliable, trustworthy, personable, a team player, and most of all, talented. I love being on set and I am able to work as a sound mixer, boom op, or utility sound. I have worked in extreme situations for long hours - I spent 3 months in the jungle and on a fishing boat in Costa Rica. I love the collaboration found on set and I strive to fulfill the director’s vision through the department of sound. ADR does not have to be necessary and good quality location sound is always possible. I have my own equipment for single- and double-system shoots and for at-home recording for foley or ADR.
