Recently working as a Graphic Designer for U.S. Foodservice has enabled me to work diligently under pressure, all while maintaining tight deadlines. I was responsible for many things including Point of Sale, Menu, Ad, and all internal design as well as special event coordination.
Thanks to my education as an art and design major and my former position as a Marketing Graphic Designer for the Eli's Cheesecake Company, I have extensive computer knowledge, computer program knowledge, and customer service skills. There, I have had experience on various projects ranging from basic in-house designs and web site maintenance to complex brochures and newspaper ads. I also had experience organizing special events, working with the media, and general public.
I love Graphic Design! I have been extremely lucky with previous employers and freelance work because they have given me the ability to learn, hands-on. Major responsibility has been put on my shoulders and I have always come through. Because of my passion for the best possible designs, I have had success with many accounts. I have also been lucky enough to successfully work with large companies such as Disney, Six Flags, and the Chicago Tribune.
I feel I would be a perfect candidate for the position because of my creative eye, managerial experience, and excellence in dealing with customers.
