Description

Martin Dubreuil was born in 1977 in Clamart, outside Paris. He emigrated to Quebec in 1989 and became interested in sound & music, learning piano and Afro/Cuban percussions. He studied music at the Joliette CEGEP, and subsequently entered the music recording program of CEGEP d'Alma, from which he graduated in 1994.

Martin developed a passion for his work through various recording and studio installation projects in Paris, Brooklyn, Berlin and Montreal. He has been a sound engineer and musician for the past 15 years, recording and performing sound mixing. He also works in the fields of post production : boom operator, sound designer, and mix engineer since 2003. He worked in France on a series of documentary for the WWF and on a TV series broadcast for TF1. Creating sound identities and advertisements for various companies and websites have enabled him to confirm his talent as a sound engineer, designer and multi-cap producer. As an advanced user of the « Soundscape » DAW software, he also participated in the development of new software functionalities and delivered technical support to its users.
