Description

• Over three years experience as an Assistant Editor, and I am Union Eligible, I have plus extensive knowledge and maintenance of Xserve Raid and Xsan shared network systems.
• HD Camera Operations and Sound recording, plus lighting experience.
• Excellent working knowledge of videotape quality and security standards, plus a strong working comprehension of video, audio and time code specs, video aspect ratios and video routing.
• I am Familiar with all aspects of the Assistant Editor, including Digitizing, Output, and Managing Media with Avid Adrenaline/Media Composer and Final Cut Pro 2, Color Correction, Creating Titles, Mixing and Balancing Audio, Prepping outputs for Sound, Performing up conversions, down conversions and cross conversions of SD and HD content
• Extensive experience using Avid and Final Cut Pro Software, including Motion and Color.
• Over two years experience of DVD menu Creation and Authoring.
• Familiar with compositing programs like After Effect, and Shake 4.0
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting of broadcast video and audio signals, and able to work under pressure alone or preferably as a member of a team.
• Very knowledgeable on HD workflows and graphic programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
