Description
I have just completed my studies at Ex'pression College for Digital Arts in Emeryville, California. I graduated with honors, and recieved a Bachelor's Degree of Applied Science in Sound Arts. I have experience inside and out of Ex'pression in many aspects of both the audio and visual fields, including studio recording, mixing, mastering, audio-post production work, game audio, live sound and lighting technician, audio/visual editing, film production, and web and graphic design.
I am proficient with digital audio workstations, and have certifications in Logic Pro 7 & 8 level 1, and Pro Tools 8 210-Post training levels. I have thorough knowledge of general signal-flow, and general knowledge of studio maintenance.
Outside of this field, I worked consistently at a family medical practice for seven years doing clerical business. There I gained a strong work ethic, and learned to self-manage, multitask, budget workflow, and work effectively within a community.
I also professionally DJ; this is the source of my love of music and the audio industry, but is more of a side-hobby.
With these skills, my professional demeanor, and years of experience, I am ready and eager to offer my talents to the industry.
Matt Kindblad has been in the industry since 2006.
