Cloverland is a full service multi-media production company. We take projects from conception to completion. We write, shoot, edit, compose, mix and master. If it is creative, we can do it. Our specialty is documentary production. We have produced two documentary features and over 300 documentary shorts since 1999. Our clients include MGM Home Entertainment, Fox Home Entertainment, Sony Home Entertainment, Sony Pictures Digital, Inc., ScreenLife LLC, DNA Studios and the Friends of St. Andrew Bay.

Equipment / Gear / Software

Cloverland also provides production services to other filmmakers and companies. We can shoot a script, provide field producing services for out-of-town productions, co-ordinate shoots, edit complex projects, even help with licensing or clearance issues.

Because Cloverland owns its camera packages, we have great flexibility in providing cost-competitive shooters for a variety of productions.
Cloverland shoots and edits with state-of-the-art equipment. We can work with any camera – film or video – but our bread-and-butter camera package is built around the Sony F900R, an industry-standard HDCam camera with all the bells and whistles. The F900R is used throughout the world to shoot commercials, music videos, documentaries and feature films.

For more flexible shooting needs, Cloverland uses a Sony PMW EX3, which records to media cards or an optional hard drive. This camera records stunningly beautiful images in full 1920 X 1080 HD using Sony’s XDCam technology, and its smaller size and lighter weight make it perfect for shoots requiring extensive travel, limited crew and handheld work. This is a “grab and go” camera with fully interchangeable lenses and slow motion / time lapse capabilities.

Cloverland has extensive experience shooting in harsh locations around the globe. We know how to deal with customs, and maintain insurance for both domestic and international productions. We have filmed in over 23 countries, many repeatedly. We have shot underwater, aerial, at sea, in swamps, on mountains, in caves…you name it, we’ve probably been there.

Cloverland maintains numerous fully-equipped HD edit suites, each outfitted with top-of-the-line Intel-based Macs, HD monitors, RAID storage and fully-updated Final Cut and Adobe software.
