Libby Fabricatore has been working as a freelance Avid and Final Cut Editor for five years. She is highly creative, able to develop a strong storyline and solid content, as well as bring a visual aesthetic to her projects. Libby possesses a broad-based, multi-disciplinary skill set. She is proficient in both Avid and Final Cut Pro, DVD authoring in DVD Studio Pro, and encoding for web/multiplatform delivery. She brings to her work not only a solid technical background, but also a strong visual aesthetic and artistic sensibility. Libby is also an inter-media musician and drummer; influences that inform her editorial work. Her talents in these disciplines feed into her work as an editor, allowing her unique and highly individualized style to shine through. Libby has been a part of the Viacom freelance team, working as a Junior Editor in Nickelodeon's VOD department. Most recently, Libby has worked on investigative crime series, “On The Case With Paula Zahn,” which is currently airing on TLC and ID. She holds a Master’s degree in Media Technology from Trinity College, Dublin (2004) and has been living
and working in New York since 2005.
