Description

Trained at Cinema Makeup Institute in Hollywood, Hanggi learned not only how to use cosmetics beautifully but effectively as well. Here she learned how to mold human faces into monstrous beings, how to defy time by turning the old into young, and how to make blemished skin seem impeccable.

Needless to say, her talent didn't go unrecognized. She was offered an internship at the Cinema Makeup Institute where she assisted Emmy nominated Leonard Engelman, famous sculptor Jim Kagel, and renowned artist Rob Burman; meanwhile, finding herself on set with T.V. star Alexander Gould, and musical band Everybody Else.

With her knowledge and extensive background in cosmetics, Hanggi decided to take on new challenges across seas. Planting herself in Shenyang, China, Hanggi was able to see beauty from a new perspective. Here she found that beauty is mutable and how makeup could be molded to fit any vision of it; thus, diversifying her aesthetic and elevating the caliber of her work to whole new level.

From fashion, to aesthetics, to Hollywood, Hanggi has done a full revolution around the world of beauty and makeup. And through her journey she has undoubtedly obtained the experience and wisdom that renders her the professional makeup artist she is today -- educated, worldly, and profound.

Equipment / Gear / Software

Airbrushing equipment, fully stocked makeup kit. I am not a cosmetics counter trained artist, so I am not loyal to any specific brand. I have all materials needed for character and light special effects (burns, frozen look, bruising, blood effects/splatter, latex bladder, gashes, scars, etc.). Custom prosthetic appliances (silicone or foam latex) can be made upon request with an additional material fee.
