I am very adept in computing concepts: (a) having worked as a freelance editor and videographer since 2001 and applying my degree in media by forming my own production company; and (b) working at Google mapping division and interfacing directly with mapping engineers.

I have a history of succeeding in my endeavors: (a) I graduated with honors with a double major in film and history; (b) I landed a job in the film industry straight out of college and rose from production assistant to associate producer/production coordinator in less than two years; (c) I formed a successful side corporate video business without having to borrow one dime and turning a notable profit despite the recession.

I am a fast learner: I have always prided myself in being well adept at juggling several responsibilities and bringing myself up to speed very quickly. Case and point was over the last year at Google where I quickly brought myself up to speed on many of the processes that are essential to launching and maintaining Google maps, successfully done in spite of the fact I had no previous knowledge of map building and programming.

I am experienced at managing and coordinating large-scale projects: (a) as an associate producer for a documentary with crews based in Hollywood, San Francisco and New York; (b) as a production coordinator to a$7,000,000 Hollywood film in Argentina, (c) managing large government subcontracts for R&D company based in Santa Barbara.
I always attempt to be an overachiever and my history shows that I will both give it my all and add to whatever team I become a part of. I believe I can do the same for you, and thank you for taking the time to consider me for this position.
