I currently am reaching my final year as a student at Lynn University in Boca Raton, FL and I am trying to have the opportunity to continue to work in the industry. When I first began college I did not hesitate to try and gain experience in the real world. I began to intern for ESPN Radio and gained the knowledge of how broadcasts are run on a daily basis. During this time I also had the opportunity to get hired at Newsmax Media, one of Americas largest independently owned news organizations. Luckily I was able to learn a lot from the hands on work I did there. I have shot, produced, and edited shows for Newsmax.com and had my work posted on their website many times. On my free time I also do freelance work for my production company Rama Productions that specializes in wedding productions. I also was in New York City during the summer where I had a great opportunity to be a Production Assistant for CNN's sister network HLN, where I worked directly with the hosts and production team in all three phases of production. I am a proficient user of Apple’s Final Cut Pro and Adobe Suite and have had a lot of experience with camera work. If any other programs are used at your company I can pick up and learn applications very quickly. I am very good under pressure and great with meeting deadlines.I have a lot to give and I would love to be able to have the opportunity to do so at your company. My schedule is also very flexible as I only go to school two days a week. If some professional recommendations are needed I could provide those as well.
