I am a two-time Emmy nominated creative professional with over seven years experience in television production. I am an exceptional communicator who works well under pressure and can competently handle numerous projects simultaneously while maximizing profitability. I'm diligent, driven and skilled at determining creative solutions in time of need and a self-starter with business start-up experience.
To put things simply, I'm in the business of storytelling. Whether working in the "what and how to say" (creative) world or the "where and when to say" (media) world. The titles have been varied - Show Runner, Post Production Supervisor, Executive Producer, Production Manager, Segment Producer, Story Producer and more than a few times, the ever-infamous "consultant" - but the goal has always been the same, to tell the stories of real people in a way that not only captivates an audience but effects some level of change in the way they view and live their personal lives.
In recent years my focus has primarily been in developing stories and show concepts of my own for broadcast but I have also maintained my basis in traditional production roles as a freelancer, filling roles as needed. I fancy myself a production MacGyver. I may not be able to concoct a contained explosive device with a spool of thread, a Cheerio and a piece of bubble gum, but give me a tiny budget, an awesome creative team, a tight deadline and I'll make a miracle happen. I've done it numerous times and will happily do it again. Would MacGyver be afraid to get his hands dirty? I think not.
