Description

I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Huntington Beach. I went to CSUF and graduated with a BA in film, then went to LAFS and studied essentially every aspect of filmmaking. I finished LAFS in
2004 and since have been primarily doing my film pieces which are 1-4 minutes in length and where I direct, shoot, edit etc. One of the pieces,"Contemporary America", was recently selected as one of shortlist finalists in the YouTube Play and Guggenheim Museum’s online video competition (from among more than 23,000 submissions).
Since graduating, I've worked on various projects in the production design field; numerous short films as the production designer including The Muskrat Boy of Griffith Park, Scalpel, Seafood Heaven, Quench, Child Again, among others. I've worked in the art department for a theater company called the Unusual Suspects, which is a non-profit organization that exists to bring theatre arts to youth from the foster care and juvenile justice systems. I've worked on variety of TV shows and films including my favorite, which was an HBO Music Series and worked as the production designer for my own film/video pieces.

I curated a monthly photography show in Costa Mesa for five years and recently curated an art show that had over 30 artists auctioning their paintings for a suicide prevention foundation called The Jason Foundation. Art has always been a fundamental part of my life. It’s exciting to be able to create a realistic/fantasy world from somebody’s imagination.
My strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as a member of a team are additional assets that I possess. Equally, I am passionate about broadening my knowledge of the film industry and improving my overall skills. Finally, I’m reliable, honest, organized and easy to get along with.
