Description

Alisha L. Baijounas grew up in Northern California. Since she was little she always had a passion for music, art, theatre, and film. Her grandmother would take her to see her first play, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, when she was 9 years old. "I fell in love with the colors, the costumes, and all the actors. It was fantastic and inspired me to perform", she says. While studying acting as a trade, she was introduced to theatrical makeup and it was love at first brush stroke. "I had always worn makeup, but hadn't realized how much it could transform your mood or your confidence - how it could transform your entire being, as if you were another person."

After graduating a professional makeup artistry program, Alisha has used her theatrical background to create countless characters with makeup in film and print. She is constantly inspired by pop art, video games, vintage fashion, moods evoked by music, and other artists across all mediums.

Alisha is currently based in Los Angeles, CA.
