“It’s the story, stupid!”
That’s the best advice I ever got. For me, story is first: it drives any successful show. I feast on solving narrative puzzles, digging through footage for the undiscovered gems that make a scene click and can transform a story into
something truly great. I strive for character, emotion, and a clear purpose for every scene. Tight deadlines are like Red Bull to me. I work to make the collaborative process both productive and enjoyable. A quick call to my references will show you I am very detail-oriented with a relentless work ethic.
My extensive production experience as a shooter, director, producer, writer and AE has done more than build my technical knowledge and creative chops—it lets me view the elephant from many angles. I can see how projects can
be prioritized and paced so that they come in on time and within budget. I understand what is required of me to interact with the entire production team so my skills make the greatest contribution. I know a great product is
essential, but a great experience is what creates loyalty and respect.
