I have 10 years experience as a package and line producer including three years at MSNBC and more recently at a new start up show on MTV. For half of my time at MTV I worked as the weekend show producer and half as a high-level daily package and post producer.
Television news is my heart and soul. I moved up through 4 local news stations to the networks. I know how to create amazing television.
My work always stands out and is often held up as the standard for others to follow. My newscasts get high ratings. My packages are always compelling, interesting, factually solid, memorable and meet deadline.
Recently, at MTV, my news director held up an innovative package style and format I developed as the model for all the other producers to follow. My extensive newsroom experience also made me a natural to help train new producers who did not know iNews, Final Cut Pro, Mediasource as well as other tools of the trade well.
Turning a story around is a few hours is easy for me. I am an expert at taped interview pieces and have spent many years as a control room producer.
