Steven Madeja is a freelance video editor and producer with a focus in corporate and non-profit communications. Some past clients include Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, the American Institute of CPAs, RPP Productions, the National Social and Economic Rights Initiative, and Magnet4 Productions to name a few.
Madeja has four years of experience working with Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Soundtrack Pro, LiveType, and Motion, capable of delivering exciting and polished videos and graphic treatments. He is equally skilled in HD videography, comfortable in studio, green screen, and field situations, familiar with P2, Firestore, and XDCAM workflows.
For over two years, Madeja was an associate producer at the AICPA, creating over 200 web-based video projects in a stylish and efficient manner, including promotional videos, news pieces, educational video courses, podcasts, and live studio webcasts.
Before working for the AICPA, he directed an award-winning short film "Garry and Harry" about twin priests with Alzheimer's which served as a fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association. He has also worked extensively with various non-profits, creating a promotional video on the Santi School Project, dedicated to building and rehabilitating schools in rural Nepal, and an advocacy trailer for Coming Home: The Dry Storm, a documentary on public housing in New Orleans, shown for the Congressional Black Caucus.
Steven Madeja has won several awards, including 2011 Gold and Platinum Hermes Awards in Communications for the 360 Tax Tips series and CPA Horizons 2025, respectively. His short film, "Garry and Harry," was the Official Selection of several film festivals, including the Fort Lauderdale International Film Fesitival and the Faith Film Festival in Brooklyn.
