Description
Denise Korycki’s work as a director, producer, writer, camera operator and editor began in the late 1990s. And, it has resulted in hundreds of hours of produced programming over the past decade for broadcast (IFC, MTV, MTV2, MTVU, VH1, LOGO, Fuse, MSG), charity organizations (Watchlist, Operation Smile), websites (Sports Illustrated, Stella Artois, Kimberly Ovitz), on-demand television (Music Choice On Demand, Fuse On Demand), and DVDs (documentaries, multi camera live performances, instructional).
Whether the subject matter is music, film or charity, Denise brings a unique and individual visual style to every project, and that is only backed by experience. Korycki’s ability to multitask and willingness to learn all aspects of the industry allowed her to become a ‘preditor’—producer and editor, very early in her career. She is certified in Final Cut Pro and knowledgeable in a wide range of cameras from SD to HD. She also has extensive experience with creating quality work in varied production environments. Ranging from close knit settings to corporate, in the studio or in the field and from the creative aspect to a managerial capacity, Korycki has the foresight to handle any production challenges that may arise and is able to easily troubleshoot on the spot.
Denise’s vast diverse production skills also include but is not limited to, documenting bands, charitable works, directing multi-camera live performances, producing television shows, creating and managing budgets, setting up shoot locations and schedules, writing voiceover scripts, developing storylines, interviewing subjects, procuring and supervising staff and coordinating schedules.
In 2004, Korycki founded Wild Wind Productions, an all-encompassing, independent entertainment production company that directs, produces, shoots, edits and provides graphic and sound design for diverse media clientele.
Korycki fully owns and operates Wild Wind Productions and also continues to freelance and collaborate with other companies as a producer, director, camera operator and editor.
WWP’s diverse and unique approach to production brings life, spirit and heart to any project or story that we help tell around the world.
Denise Korycki has been in the industry since 1997.
