Hello,
I am currently working part time for Montclair University as senior EIC for NJTV news production in their HD production facility and handling all of the remote operations for the NJTV network. I worked at New Jersey Network as an Engineer In Charge of remote and studio operations until it ceased operations on June 30, 2011 after 40 years of service. I was the engineering supervisor of the engineering and production crews ensuring technical quality of the productions. I managed the productions on site from personnel to rental equipment. I designed and built their remote truck with 6 cameras, operated their satellite truck as well as several microwave live trucks. I built the New Jersey Lottery control room and assisted in the design of the video control room. I was the go to person if something out of the ordinary had to get done. I have many years experience with setting up and operating a microwave network as well as doing freelance video operator for the networks on many types of shows. I have experience in both HD and SD equipment. I have been involved in broadcast television since 1975. 1978 thru 2007, I owned and operated Melovision Productions, a full service production facility, doing commercial and industrial productions.
