Description

My name is Katherine G. Mendoza and I am a SUNY College at Oneonta graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communication and a concentration in both Production, Media Studies and a minor in Advertising.
In the past year I have been fortunate enough to work with Bordinni Brothers Productions as a freelance Associate Producer organizing, coordinating and over seeing their 30 minute commercials through pre production and post production and finally its airing during their biggest program The TuNite Show con Lorenzo Parro which I also work on as a on site one day a week Production Assistant. Before my time with Bordinni Brothers Production I was given the chance to work with several Production companies as a receptionist / intern and would love to learn from a lively production company. Through Bordinni Brothers and The Tunite Show I was given the opportunity to become a Public Relations Intern for Revolucion NYC and assist the Director of Public Relations on their most important accounts which included but where not limited to social media, press releases and sales for HBO Latino and AOL Latino. I have also had the pleasure of interning at Double Wide Media and Dedicated Lane Productions holding both production and post production titles. During my time with both I was given the chance to provide administrative production support to not only the director of the companies but the producers as well as the editors and have a hand in everything production, post and social media. I was also responsible for logging studio shoots, transcribing interviews and was the go to person whenever a task needed to be done independently and efficiently.

I am highly motivated as well as a fast learner who can work independently but also with in a team. I would love to take my next step as and Entry Level Assistant and be able to contribute to a company where I can continue to grow and hopefully be an instrumental part of your team. I have a great passion for all things film and advertising and hope to expand my knowledge of the industry and hopefully be an over all part of a strong team.I am proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Final Cut Pro 7 I have knowledge in Excel, Adobe Photoshop CS5 and DVD Studio Pro. I am proficient on both Mac & PC as well as Fluent in Spanish.
