Christiano Dias (b. 1986) was born in Brazil and raised in Texas. At a young age, he was exposed to an elementary form of storytelling by writing short stories and later drawing storyboards in art class. While at the University of North Texas (2005-2009), Chris wrote, directed and produced seven short films and a television show for North Texas Television. Chris has interned with AT&T for digital sports media promotional videos, worked as a Production Assistant for locally filmed commercials and television shows including Prison Break, The Deep End, and America’s Got Talent. He worked at The Studios at Las Colinas (Irving, TX) as Creative Media Director, where he also produced a lot of his own films. Chris has a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing from The University of North Texas and plans to additionally pursue an MFA with a focus on Film Directing in 2012.
