To Whom It May Concern:


In 2007, I started working as a production associate on HBO Sports’ Legends and Legacies series. I’ve spent the past 4 years learning, first-hand, about television production and the creative process. My responsibilities focused around acquiring and organizing all media for our documentary projects. This included gathering all video and film, digitizing and organizing it for our editor, and then collaborating with the producer and editor to visually carry our films. I also worked with out marketing department cutting trailers and web based promo videos.
Beyond HBO, I worked independently on producing, directing, and editing my own documentaries and music videos. In 2009 I produced and edited a documentary film, Lions of New York, that follows the city's most prominent gay hockey team, showing how this unique label affects the players lives on and off the ice. This past summer I produced, directed, and edited a music video for Cantora Records’ recording artist Gordon Voidwell and edited a music video for bluegrass band O’Death.
Most recently I have worked as a freelance editor for a range of organizations. I produced fundraising tribute videos for KIPP NYC and Malaria No More. Currently, I am editing 2 short documentaries for Righteous Pictures.
My passion is storytelling and my talent lies in editing. I am looking to work with creative and passionate individuals who will help me grow as an editor and storyteller.
