**Production Management**
Molly is a film and theatre professor in Houston, Texas and an award-winning filmmaker. She developed a video/new media program for San Jacinto College Central, which is accepting students into the program this Fall. Molly just won Best Film (and seven other awards) for the 48 Hour Film Project entry "Cold War" which goes on to the International level of competition in March 2012. She also just wrapped as Unit Production Manager on Larry Carrell's thriller "Jacob" and Barbara Sundstrom's drama "Adrift" this summer. Recently she completed principal photography on the trailer for Wayne Slaten's sci-fi thriller "Patriot Act", Chuck Norfolk's comedy "The Presentation", Barbara Sundstrom's historical drama "Kentucky Infidel" and Travis Ammons' dark comedy "Suicide Notes" working as 1st Assistant Director. Released by Lion's Gate in October of 2011 is Mel House's horror film "Psychic Experiment" which she was Production Coordinator on and many of the San Jacinto College students were involved with. Also, released in October is the horror film "Renfield" which she was both Script Doctor and Production Manager on. Molly is married to director Scott Vernon and they have two sons, two grandsons, one granddaughter, and several spoiled rotten English Bulldogs.
