Studio81 Recording is located in the north end of New Bedford, Ma at 1110 Acushnet Ave. We are 51 miles south from Boston, Ma and 28 miles southeast from Providence, RI. New Bedford is the 6th largest city in Massachusetts and has been nicknamed “The Whaling City”

The first reaction everyone has when they walk into Studio81 Recording is “Wow! I never thought or knew that a place like this existed in New Bedford.” The facility is designed with simplistic aesthetics using a combination of warm and cool colors. The sound isolation implemented gives you a sense of seclusion. These attributes combined provide an avenue in which musicians can work peacefully without the distractions of the world. This is why everyone’s next reaction after working inside Studio81 is “ Man, I feel like I could be here all day and night and never leave!”

Studio81 Recording was founded by Richard Raposo in 2009. The facility is equipped with the most current analog and digital equipment for recording, mixing, and mastering and the staff is ready in assisting in the creation and bringing your projects/compositions to completion. The studio is prepared to handle various projects from simple voiceovers to full blown productions including live bands.
