Hey, I'm an AP and aspiring that reccently moved to NY. Though most of my experience is in reality I also have experience working in film, music and sports production.

Dear Sir or Madam,

Enclosed is my resume for your consideration regarding a potential position as a producer or associate producer with your company. Recently, I returned to the East Coast after living in Los Angeles. I have four years of experience working in reality television production and have spent the last two as an associate producer. I am highly interested in making the shift towards mainstream production.

The key strengths that I will bring to this position are:
• Writing and rewriting segments
• Experience interviewing cast members
• Have directed/ produced segments
• Have researched and created segments including securing locations and taking care of all clearance related issues.
• Compiling field notes and writing shooting summaries or network executives
• Exceptional ability to fill in the gaps and to serve in a support role when needed.

Some of my strengths in Post Production include:
• Have independently built complete episodes
• Have written and strung out cold opens, supertrailers and promos
• Extremely comfortable working with Editors, supervising producers, executives and other production staff
• Highly proficient in AVID and have experience with Final Cut

I have primarily worked in docu-reality, competition based shows and reality shows that have an emphasis on comedy. I am really looking forward to new experiences and expanding my already growing knowledge in production.
