Description
Owner Mark Giambruno has over 20 years of experience in computer graphics, from 2D illustration to web and presentation graphics, CD-ROM and online games and 3D modeling and animation.
He has worked as artist, art director, project manager or consultant on dozens of game titles, including the Disney Princess website, The Incredibles: When Danger Calls, Mechwarrior 3, Zork: Nemesis and The Daedalus Encounter.
Most of his early professional work was done at Mondo Media, where he built their 3D art team and directed many of their business presentation and game projects. He also worked as an animator on their Thugs on Film webshow and as a voice actor on Happy Tree Friends. After the dot-com implosion, he went on to do projects for ImaginEngine and Backbone Entertainment (now Foundation 9).
He has authored three books related to computer graphics, including Computer Graphics and Animation: From Starting Up to Standing Out. He also works with translators to adapt Japanese manga and other books into English, including Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan and Hayate the Combat Butler.
Binary Arts has been in the industry since 1989.
