B. Creative is the boutique development, production, and consulting business of producer/line producer Elizabeth (Betty) Buckley. With over 20 years experience as a producer in film and television, Betty just completed line producing MISSION PARK (2011) , a feature film starring Sean Patrick Flannery and Viveca Fox. Betty worked with 1080 Entertainment from 2007-2009 serving as Director of Development as well as Supervising Producer. She was Supervising Producer on HISTORY’S series JURASSIC FIGHT CLUB, as well as the specials LOST BOOK OF NOSTRADAMUS, and NOSTRADAMUS 2012. As director of development for 1080, she developed, sold and served as consulting producer for ECLIPSE EASTER ISLAND for NAT GEO. Current B. Creative projects in development include the indie features THE LURE, and BLUE PAGES.
Prior to her work at 1080, she developed and produced original television content as Executive Producer for Trailblazer Studios, most notably ITS EASY BEING GREEN for the FINE LIVING NETWORK. ITS EASY BEING GREEN hosted the last television interview with actor and philanthropist Paul Newman. She also developed, produced and secured distribution for a pre-teen web series, TURTLE TV.
Previous work includes experience as a series and indie film producer, including the five-time Emmy award-winning PBS children’s series, WISHBONE. Independent Films include DOG DAYS OF THE WEST, the feature film extension to WISHBONE, broadcast on SHOWTIME. Other indie films include SEVENTY FIVE DEGREES IN JULY, THE GUNMAN, and MISSION PARK, slated for distribution in 2012.
Buckley founded Women in Film.Dallas and has received the organization's Achievement Award. Previous awards also include the George Foster Peabody Award for her work on WISHBONE, as well as a Gracie Award for GILDA’S PLACE, a PSA she produced for Women in Film featuring the voice of Meryl Streep.
