Description

My name is Lang Collis and currently I am a full time editor at Discovery Communications. While at Discovery I have worked on both long and short form programming for broadcast. While at Discovery I have worked on both Avid and Quantel. I have experience working with Adobe’s Creative Suite, and I am proficient working in After Effects and Photoshop. Currently I am the lead editor working on 3D programming for international markets. This position requires great communication, organization, technical knowledge and creativity. I was selected as lead 3D editor because of my ability learn new technologies quickly.

While working at Discovery I also went back to school to earn my Masters Degree in Film and Television at American University. My degree not only helps me as an editor, but I now have the knowledge to take a project from idea to broadcast.
