The artist currently known as Ed Lie is a former film student, having graduated from the University of North Texas’ RTVF program in 2011 and having done not much of note with said degree. He works as a teacher at an after-school daycare in Plano, and does a little bit of freelance animation on the side. Ed, along with current business partner Davis Kouk, run a small company known as Entropy 101 Inc, and is currently working on a small board game project.
His current skillsets are focused mainly on digital editing and videography, but he occasionally dabbles in screenwriting and 2D digital animation. He cites his creative influences in a rather quite extensive list including but not limited to: Francis Ford Coppola, Stanley Kubrick, David Lynch, Andrei Tarkovsky, John Lasseter, Hayao Miyazaki, Genndy Tartakovsky, T.S. Eliot, Søren Kierkegaard, Augustine of Hippo, and Seagram's Extra Dry Gin.
Ed Lie's favorite color is orange, and he enjoys long walks on the beach and sunsets. His favorite Beatle is John and his favorite Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young is Stills.
