My name is Harper Robinson. I started working as a PA for “American Idol” and "So You Think You Can Dance" and other network reality programs. Next, I worked for Andrew Stevens at Andrew Stevens Entertainment Group where I contributed significantly to many of their successfully distributed films. I also played an integral role helping Mr. Stevens with several other Film/TV related projects. My responsibilities included supporting the development and production of projects such as a reality TV series, entitled "Texas Exes", which was Executive Produced by Aaron Norris (Exec Prod of Walker Texas Ranger), as well as and the creation of a fully accredited film production college program.

After completing my MBA from Texas A&M in 2009, I started independently producing short films. My most recent short film is entitled “Knife” and stars Charles Baker from the Emmy award winning AMC series “Breaking Bad”. This film premiered at the 2011 Sarasota Film Festival, an official selection to SXSW 2012 Film Festival and has screened at many other notable festivals as well. I have recently produced my first, feature length film, "Beyond Pollution”. It is an investigative documentary, narrated by Dean Cain and covers the recent BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. The film premiered at the largest most established and exclusive environmental film festivals in the world “The Environmental Film Festival in the Nation’s Capital” in 2012 as well as at the USA Film Festival.

Currently, I am a Professor at KD College's Motion Picture Production program. I teach Advanced Film/TV Business 401 and Film/TV Distribution and Marketing 401. I am also a program associate for the Lone Star Film Festival which is the largest and most established Film Festival in Ft. Worth, Texas. The festival this year honored Willie Nelson and the opening night film was “The Descendants” starring George Clooney.

I have extensive experience in all areas of production and have a strong reputation of always completing projects on-time, on-spec and often under budget. I am confident that my in-depth understanding of the different markets/revenue streams, branding, marketing, business and my eye for quality all gives me the strong foundation needed to be able to contribute to your objectives successfully.
