For the past three years I have been fortunate to work as “Stage Coordinator” on the Fox Post Production sound stages. During this time I have had the great opportunity to work and build relationships with film directors, producers, composers, executives, music executives, recording engineers, mixers, foley artists, music contractors, copyists and musicians alike while catering to their needs as my position required. My work here at Fox has given me great knowledge of the inner workings of the Marilyn, Marge, Hawks, Ford, Wise and Newman stages and has allowed me to build valuable working relationships with those who frequent and work those stages. I am responsible for seeing to the needs of clients on all 6 stages which at times run concurrently so professional client communications, attention to detail, multi tasking, poise under pressure and high organization skills have helped me to be successful in this role.
I hold a New Bachelor of Arts in Music Degree from California State University, Long Beach. This new designation at Cal State Long Beach is a degree designed specifically for those looking for a diverse, well-rounded education in all aspects of music, music business, and music in film.
Requirements for my degree included studies in music composition, music performance, music in film, music history, dance in film, dance and music, popular music, and theater. Prior to working at Fox and during my last 2 years at Cal State Long Beach, I was fortunate to win multiple internships in the film industry working in music supervision, film music composition, and talent agencies specializing in film composers and supervisors. I had also interned at a record label as well as worked at multiple major film studios including Fox. This assisted me in building a profound knowledge of the interworking of the music, and film industry.
