Description

Digital media was my emphasis at California State University, Fresno as a Mass Communication and Journalism major. I’ve acquired skills with: photography, including black and white film development to digital photography using SLR cameras; videography, including all aspects with production stages; lighting, utilizing equipment with fill and backlight; sound; as well as how to prepare and create documents/images for publication/web. I have sufficient knowledge with editing programs such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver to name a few.

Through the four years I attended Fresno State, I’ve assisted with multiple projects within the MCJ Dept. such as the Fresno State Centennial Celebration project where I collected audio samples, War Veterans' Oral History Project where I interviewed vets and transcribed hours of dialogue and more. Additionally, I’ve worked countless media-related freelance opportunities within the community that have widened my basis and skills within this field.

Overall, these skills and experiences have taught me patience, resourcefulness, great communication skills, organization and attention to detail.
