Erica Preus is a professional makeup artist born, raised, and residing in Southern California. Using her theatrical background in competitive dance as a springboard, Erica began working as a freelance makeup artist almost ten years ago. Since then, she has lent her freelance talents to many of the most prestigious names in cosmetics including Make Up Forever, Lancome, Bobbi Brown, Georgio Armani, Sephora, Smashbox, and Clarins. Her work has also been showcased in numerous artistic avenues including editorial, print advertising, film, fashion, wedding, and private events. Erica's 'makeup mantra' is based on the intelligent and classy use of playful colors, all the while making each and every subject look flawless. She finds the transformative power of makeup to be both alluring and satisfying, and is always thrilled to educate others to embrace the bold, and dabble in the daring. Erica loves working one-on-one with her clients to teach them the potential simplicity of a makeup routine, showing women all over the state the uplifting, empowering feeling that comes with literally putting your best face forward. She finds nothing more exciting than dolling up a blushing-bride one day, then turning around and creating a high-fashion, avante garde look for an editorial shoot the next.
