I am currently looking for an associate level position in production. I have the administrative and on set experience that qualifies me for this position.
My previous experience as an employee at various production companies and agencies has secured my passion for media making, and provided me with the experience to continue that work on a higher level. Currently, I am the Office Manager of Conversation, a full service advertising agency. I am responsible for conducting orientation for new employees, facilitating the creation and execution of internal documents and processes, hiring interns and supervising internship program, solving technical issues, coordinating travel and calendars, maintain a professional presentation of the office, and communicating with vendors.
I have also worked on set of the independent film, Trouble in the Heights, as the Extra's Coordinator. This position tested my ability to work in a high stress, high intensity setting. I was able to assist with office work, as well as conduct outreach to actors and provide over 100 unpaid extras for the film.
Although working in operations has taught me valuable business skills, I am looking to apply those skills and become more involved in the production process. I am an enthusiastic and coachable employee. I believe my knowledge, attitude, and good intuition make me an assett to any team. I pride myself on gaining the respect of my peers by going the extra mile to make the impossible, possible.
