Description

My last position was as an Assistant Editor for the Post-Operations
department at OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, prepping footage, editing,
making selects, digitizing, and transcoding footage from the entire
company. My duties included digitizing footage on a variety of decks
including HD CAM, transcoding a myriad of formats, compression,
uploading footage to FTP, exporting OMF's, authoring DVD's, pulling
footage down from the internet, QC'ing for broadcast quality, etc.


Before OWN, I have worked on documentaries for MSNBC ("Twisted
Sister") for Braverman Productions (including single-handedly creating
the show bible,) Brave New Films, Rock the Vote, The Wayans Brothers
and I started my career while still at school as a video editor for
the paparazzi website X17video.com.


In addition to that, I have won awards for Best Documentary and Best
Experimental Editing at the California State University Los Angeles
"Rize Up" Film Festival.
