Through out her career, Melissa has worked in various forms of journalism including: online, print, photography, magazine, radio, and television.

In her broadcast career, Melissa has interviewed "Good Morning America" host: George Stephanopolous, The rock band: "Fountains of Wayne", CNN Political Analyst: Ed Rollins, NPR All Things Considered host: David Siegel, Former Presidential Candidate: Howard Dean, and the Directors of the award winning film "Catfish."

Summer 2010: Melissa earned the prestigious honor to intern in Washington DC through the SUNY Brockport Political Science program. She interned with "The Bob Edwards Show". Here, she was able to create her own radio packages that aired on SIRIUS XM Radio.

Spring 2011: Melissa interned at The CBS Evening News with Katie Couric. She assisted in producing, researching, logging, and putting on the Royal Wedding Special.

Currently, Melissa interns with NY1's Political Unit: Inside City Hall where she assists with putting on a daily show featuring New York City politics.

Melissa hopes to one day become a videographer traveling the world and telling unique stories.
