Mark L. Williams is one of the outstanding Producers, Directors, AD's and Stage Managers working in the Midwest. He has over twenty one years experience working on award winning television programming for several networks, nationally and locally. He is the founder of Emerald Star Productions* an entertainment company developing quality programming for national syndication. He is adept at working in fast-paced environments and committed to quality plus he is driven by challenges with making astute decisions to effect positive change. Detail-oriented and resourceful. Some of his most recent projects include: Executive Producer/ Director for Chosen For Another View a weekly faith based Talk/Variety show, this project at its peak was seen by up to nine million households weekly. Plus he Directed Walt Whitman and the Soul Children’s live Concert, this was a highly dynamic concert for all the youth of Chicago and the World. Also he was Stage manager for internationally known Rock band U2, The DVD "Vertigo: Live from Chicago". . The vast experience Mark has covers four major networks' respective news and sports divisions as a freelance Director, AD, and stage manager. In 2002, he joined the number one rated News broadcasts in Chicago at WLS ABC 7. WLS is always at the forefront of delivering the worlds news at a high level with consistency, from their state of the art storefront studio on State Street. Nationally he traveled weekly with ABC Sports for their NCAA BIG TEN conference college football broadcasts and NHL broadcasts for ESPN. He has worked for WFLD FOX TV as an AD and Stage Manager since 1998, working on all news broadcasts, their Weekly Sports Shows, and their Emmy award winning New Years Eve Concerts and 4th of July Fireworks and Concert broadcasts. Also on NFL, MLB and NHL games for Fox Sports. Employed by CBS for ten great years up until 2008, Mark has worked nationally for CBS Sports on NFL and NCAA tournament broadcasts. Plus he has worked locally at WBBM on all news broadcasts; and special programming such as Eye on Chicago, WBBM’s Emmy award winning local news magazine and Chicago Bears pre-season games and specials, plus The Chicago Marathon, and Weekly Sports Shows and Gubernatorial Debates. In the early nineties Mark worked at "Chicago’s very own" WGN TV. Chicago Bull's broadcasts and half time shows, news telecasts, and their weekly shows People to People and Minority Business Report, and of course THE BOZO SHOW. . Mark brings his vision, communication skills and creativity in the areas of Live events, News Oriented and Sports projects , as well as issue oriented programming to every project he works on.
