Description

MIA ANIMATION is an industry conference that focuses on Computer Animation, Gaming, Visual Effects and Motion Graphics, Film, Web Design and Visual Arts. We have brought world-renowned industry speakers that offer master classes along with software demos and multiple panels. This year we have several panels focusing on new technologies. It has been designed to be a forum for active networking and practical information exchange with strong commitment and emphasis in education while developing and nourishing new talent.

Animations from different genres ranging from character animation to scientific visualization, and from commercials for mainstream TV are invited to participate in this year’s Animation Festival & Theater.

COMPETITION ENTRIES
All entries must be uploaded (www.miaanimation.com) by 30 September 2012 (22:00 UTC/GMT). Only finished works will be considered for inclusion, and all submissions must be uploaded at final resolution.
Confirmation of selected works will be announced no later than October 1st, 2011 and all selected entrants will be notified by e-mail.

AWARDS
On the night of the MIA ANIMATION festival, the Festival Jury will present the Best Animation Award (Students and Pro’s) and Best Student Project Prize.
An Audience Award will be announced on the last day of the conference by www.Brasilmais.com.
