Dave Scott is a talented video and media producer with a passion for creative storytelling. He can take any project from concept to script to shoot to edit to delivery. Dave recently moved back to the Los Angeles area and is looking to use his skills as a show and segment producer, writer, shooter or Final Cut editor to produce high-quality projects for TV or the internet. Dave has a well-rounded and diverse background in video production, starting as a studio camera operator at the CBS station in Columbus, Ohio and then moving on to jobs ranging from news shooting and editing at TV stations in Ohio and South Carolina to producing, writing, shooting and editing TV promo spots for stations in Louisiana to serving as a segment producer, remote shoot director, writer, videographer and editor on web-based informational show projects in southern California, including the two-time Webby Award nominated "Viral," an internet-only magazine show profiling and promoting various independent producers of internet TV shows which received an honorary Webby for its final season and was viewed more than 20 million times. Dave has covered big news events, edited long form talk shows and short feature segments. I have shot EPK video for a small feature film, shot and edited local TV commericals, operated instant replay machines for live sports broadcasts and even appeared in front of the camera as a background actor on several network TV shows. Storytelling on video is Dave's passion, and he seeks an opportunity to continue to use his experience with challenging projects in a creative environment.
