I am seeking full time employment in the Valdosta, Georgia area. I have successfully operated my own small videography business for seven years in Valdosta. I have extensive experience filming weddings, commercials and live events using both multi-camera switchboards, recording directly into firestore drives, and recording multiple angles directly onto tape. I use the Adobe Production suite for the video editing and DVD Authoring. I have extensive experience using Adobe Premiere to manually sync the footage from multi-camera shoots, and I am very comfortable using Premiere and other Adobe programs; I have used Adobe software since I first started my video business. I am extremely proficient using Canon XL1 cameras, Canon XL2 cameras, and also Canon GL1 and GL2 cameras. I am very comfortable filming live events (such as weddings, bands, and pageants) while both overseeing and directing the second camera operator. I started out using Adobe Premiere 6.5 and Encore DVD 1.5, After Effects 6.5 and Photoshop 7.0; I currently use Adobe CS5. I do not have a certificate or degree in video production; however, I have over 7 years real world experience working out in the field, with my primary focus being mainly weddings and live event production. I am also very proficient in working with computer hardware and software and video production equipment such as dollies, cranes, and professional audio equipment such as wireless lapel mics and audio switchboards. I have worked with all of these types of equipment on a regular basis. Video production has always been my passion and I would be grateful if i were given the chance to prove how dedicated of an employee I would be and how passionate I am about video production. I make it a point to put that passion into everything that I film, edit and produce!
