Recently served as Vice President of Development & Production at Paradox Entertainment. Oversaw business development for international, publicly traded company on feature film, video game, comic book and digital media projects. Demonstrated most notably by formulating plan for author Robert E.Howard’s global IP portfolio, which culminated in the production of two award-winning video games, several top selling comic book series via output deal with Dark Horse and worldwide theatrical film distributed by Lionsgate.
Handled budgets, scheduling, and social media for slate of transmedia projects including Conan the Barbarian, Let Me In, Buck Rogers, Kull of Atlantis, and Chariots of the Gods.
Worked in tandem with clients to conceive packaging and financing strategies for projects, including brokering deals with agents and managers to hire employees in all phases of production from pre through post, tracking production rebate structures, international co-productions, and Senior Debt financing opportunities.
Prior to joining Paradox, worked as an Executive of Development & Production at George Clooney & Grant Heslov’s Warner Bros-based Smoke House Pictures. Performed high-volume research and analysis for new projects within script and literary market, articles, TV archives, topical news stories. Generated project development notes, writer/director/actor lists, and script comparisons for projects including The Ides of March, Our Brand is Crisis, Leatherheads, and Argo.
Hands-on project and operations expertise has given me the practical know-how to successfully handle creative and financial development, project generation and research, budgets, high-level negotiations, scheduling, marketing, social media, and project logistics from pre through post production.
