My Name is Michael A. Payne and I am a recent graduate of Clark Atlanta University where I majored in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Radio/Television & Film. Throughout my matriculation at Clark Atlanta University. I have acquired many skills pertaining to the radio,television as well as vital information in both television and film and social media which has become a major over the past few years. My acquired knowledge and skills will support me after I graduate from school and transition into my future career path.
Career goals of mine would one day be to work for a well known magazine, and or record label where i can showcase my skills and creativity to take the brand to the next level. I would also like to become a well known director and photographer having my own media company that people in various forms of entertainment come to when they need album artwork done or a music video shot. I feel as though being well rounded in the media industry will not only benefit you but open up more doors that will take you further in life because of the knowledge and skill of being able to do other tasks. As the history of music has gone on throughout the years there were always new ideas, styles, and sounds that made the industry so unique and that is what I’m looking forward to as well. Being able to create new ideas and ways of interaction with the different areas of media will be key. If considered for this internship, I feel as though this will be the beginning chapter of what's to come in my life further down the line. I am a very hard worker that is always willing and looking for work. It is vital to always put forth 100% of my effort and ability into all and any tasks at hand. My openness and my will to learn as much information as possible from the use of different programs to the different positions is also something I am looking forward to. As stated earlier, its best to be skilled in all areas not just one because you never know when you will be called upon or needed to step up and fill in the position of somebody else.
